PUBLIC PARTICIPATION (PUBLIC COMMENT)

Option A: To provide public comments in person in the Council Chambers

Members of the public may attend the meeting in person in the Council Chambers and have the opportunity to speak or submit a written comment on any item listed on the Agenda. To speak, complete a Speaker’s Card for each item and submit it to the City Clerk before the public comment portion of that item. Public testimony is limited to three (3) minutes per speaker, and time may not be transferred to another person. Written comments submitted during the meeting will not be read aloud by the City Clerk. 

 

Option B: To submit written public comments prior to the meeting

Members of the public may submit written comments on any item listed on the Agenda. To ensure the City Council has time to review and/or consider the information prior to the meeting, please include the Agenda item number or topic in the email subject line and send written public comments to comments@agourahillscity.gov on or before 4:00 p.m. on the meeting date. Public comments are not read into the record by the City Clerk. Please note: any public comments submitted after the deadline may not be considered during the City Council’s deliberations or included in the official record. However, the public is welcome to attend the meeting to make or submit comments in person.

5. Approve Sixth Amendment to the Design Professional Consultant Services Agreement with Michael Baker International for Additional Engineering Design Services Related to the Kanan Corridor Project

RECOMMENDATION: 1) Approve the Sixth Amendment to the Design Professional Consultant Agreement with Michael Baker International; and 2) Authorize the Mayor to sign the amendment to the agreement on behalf of the City Council.

6. Approve the Consumption of Alcohol in Designated Area in the Park at Reyes Adobe Days 2025

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the consumption of alcohol in a designated area in the park in order to complete the process of the Temporary Use Permit authorizing the activities offered for Reyes Adobe Days.

7. Adopt Resolution No. 25-2114 Updating Delegation of Authority to Request Disbursements California Employers’ Pension Prefunding Trust (CEPPT)

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 25-2114; A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AGOURA HILLS, CALIFORNIA, DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO REQUEST DISBURSEMENTS FROM THE CALIFORNIA EMPLOYERS’ PENSION PREFUNDING TRUST (CEPPT) AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 22-2021.

8. Adopt Resolution No. 25-2115 Updating Delegation of Authority to Request Disbursements California Employers’ Retiree Benefit Trust (CERBT)

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 25-2115 updating the updating delegation of authority to request disbursements California Employers’ Retiree Benefit Trust (CERBT).   

9. Adopt Resolution No. 25-2116 Authorizing Investments of Monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund (LAIF)

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 25-2116; A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AGOURA HILLS, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF MONIES IN THE LOCAL AGENCY INVESTMENT FUND (LAIF) AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 03-1283

10. Adopt Ordinance No. 25-479 Designating Fire Hazard Severity Zones

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Ordinance No. 25-479, designating Fire Hazard Severity Zones, and approving a CEQA exemption determination.

11. Discussion Regarding Oak Tree Ordinance Planning Principles

RECOMMENDATION: City Council discuss the proposed Planning Principles and provide staff with general direction regarding the goals and objectives of the Oak Tree Ordinance Amendment.

The next Regular City Council Meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m., on July 23, 2025, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center. The Civic Center is located at 30001 Ladyface Court, Agoura Hills, California.
