PUBLIC PARTICIPATION (PUBLIC COMMENT)
Option A: To provide public comments in person in the Council Chambers
Members of the public may attend the meeting in person in the Council Chambers and speak or submit written comments on any item listed on the Agenda. To speak, complete a Speaker’s Card for each item and submit it to the City Clerk before the public comment period of that item. Public testimony is limited to three (3) minutes per speaker; a speaker's time may not be transferred to another person. Written comments submitted during the meeting will not be read aloud by the City.
Option B: To submit written public comments prior to the meeting
Members of the public may submit written comments on any item listed on the Agenda. To ensure the City Council has time to review and/or consider the information prior to the meeting, please include the item number or topic in the subject line and email comments@agourahillscity.gov by 4:00 p.m. on the meeting date. Public comments are not read into the record by the City. Any comments submitted after the deadline may not be considered during the City Council’s deliberations or included in the official record. However, the public may attend the meeting to make or submit comments in person.

7. Consider Supporting the Las Virgenes-Malibu Council of Governments Letter of Opposition to Proposed Changes to the Metro Board of Directors
RECOMMENDATION: Discuss the Las Virgenes-Malibu letter to the Metro Board and provide direction on whether the City Council will take a position on the issue or decline and allow the Las Virgenes-Malibu Council of Governments to send the letter without a formal position from Agoura Hills.
