6. Consent Agenda
Ms. Ashby made the motion to approve the minutes of the April 22, 2024, meeting. Motion was seconded by Ms. Cunningham. For: All; Against: None. Motion carried 6 to 0.
6A. Approval of minutes of the April 22, 2024, Animal Advisory Board Meeting.
7. Discussion/Action Items
Ms. Wilson briefed the Board on shelter business to include: they have extended an offer to employ a fourth ACO position that will be the field trainer, the ACOs will be going through San Antonio's training program, and the new kennels will be delivered in January.
Ms. Cunningham asked the board to post about fostering and the shelter bond on social media. The board spoke about looking into rescues that will transport adopted dogs and about looking into sponsor/donation possibilities within the community.
Dr. Griffiths notified the Board that this would be her last meeting as she is resigning due to time constraints with her schedule.
