6. Executive Sessions
Mayor Latimer called for Council to convene into Executive Session at 5:11p.m.
6.A. Discussion, pursuant to 551.074 (Personnel Matters), regarding the duties and responsibilities of the City Manager per Section 3.07 of the City Charter, regarding Animal Services Officer, Animal Services Manager, Police Officer, and Police Chief and how the application of policies may affect department operations. Any employee involved in the incident who will be discussed in closed session has the right to request the discussion and deliberation take place in a public hearing.
6.B. Discussion, pursuant to 551.074 (Personnel Matters), regarding the duties and responsibilities of the City Manager per Section 3.07 of the City Charter, regarding Fire Apparatus Operator, Fire Chief and the application of personnel policies and how the application of policies may affect department operations, including the appropriate use of City property.

Council reconvened into Open Session at 6:27p.m. Mayor Latimer made the motion for City Manager to coordinate an independent operation audit of the Animal Services Department. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Brown. For: All; Against: None. Motion carried 7 to 0.
