Mayor Weill called the meeting to order at 1:30 P.M.

Mayor Weill led the flag salute.

1.C. ROLL CALL - Downs, Fromberg Edelstein, O’Keefe, Mallotto, Weill

All members were present.

2. PUBLIC COMMENTS

Public comments were heard during consideration of the discussion item.

3. DISCUSSION ITEMS

3.A. Preliminary Budget for Fiscal Years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027

Kofi Antobam, Director of Administrative Services, and Ryan Stendell, Assistant City Manager, presented the proposed fiscal year 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 preliminary budgets.

The following individual provided public comments: Isiah Harris.

A discussion ensued.

The consensus of the City Council was make the following changes to the Special Programs budget: 1) Add $100,000 to the Support for Non-profits budget (Account No. 7458); 2) Add McCallum Theatre to the Special Contributions budget (Account No. 7497), reflecting $37,500; and 3) Increase the Cultural Commission budget (Account No. 7875) to $37,500.

City Manager, Isaiah Hagerman, reported that the two-year budget would be presented to the City Council for action at the first regular City Council meeting in June 2025.

4. ADJOURNMENT

Mayor Weill adjourned the meeting at 3:19 P.M.
