2. PRESENTATIONS
2.A. Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network Presentation
Mitch Brown, Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network (CVDPN) President, provided an overview of the CVDPN organization.
2.B. Shay's Warriors Presentation
Shay Moraga, Shay's Warriors Founder, and Maddy Botello, Warrior of Connections, provided an update on the Shay's Warrior's organization.
3. COUNCIL MEMBER COMMENTS/REPORTS
Council Member Fromberg Edelstein introduced Danny Labin, Jewish Federation of the Desert CEO, and spoke of the recent renaming ceremony at which the Jewish Federation of the Desert building was named in honor of philanthropist Sherwin Terbow.
Mr. Labin spoke of the importance of increasing the visibility of the Jewish community in Rancho Mirage and of the ways the Jewish community contributes to the area. He thanked the City Council for its support.
Council Member Downs spoke regarding law enforcement safety and provided related statistics.
Council Member Weill provided an update on the Cotino "Storyliving by Disney" project.
Mayor Mallotto provided an update regarding an airline flight path change that resulted in numerous complaints from residents. She also reported that she and Council Member Fromberg Edelstein recently held community meetings at the City's Housing Authority properties, providing residents with information regarding various services and resources available to them.

5. CONSENT CALENDAR (A-D)

5.A. March 19, 2026, Regular City Council Meeting Minutes
— RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the March 19, 2026, Regular City Council Meeting Minutes as presented.
5.B. Final Acceptance of Improvements for Parcel Map No. 38315 - Palomino Four
— RECOMMENDED ACTION: Accept the private improvements for Parcel Map No. 38315 as completed and authorize the filing of the Notice of Completion with the County Recorder’s Office.
5.C. Contracts
— RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the terms of the contracts as presented and authorize the City Manager to execute the subject contracts.
5.D. Demands
— RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the demands as presented.
6. ACTION CALENDAR
6.A. Establishing a 20-Mile-Per-Hour Speed Limit within Designated School Zones
— RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2026-(Next-in-Order), Establishing a 20-Mile-Per-Hour Prima Facie Speed Limit within Designated School Zones Pursuant to California Vehicle Code Sections 22352 and 22352.5 (Assembly Bill 382).
