Chairman Weaver called roll. The quorum will consist of Chairman Weaver, Vice-Chairman Torres, Members Snow and Nyberg. Chairman Weaver called the meeting to order at 6:04 P.M.

Assistant Public Works Director, Jarred Coursey, introduced the item on behalf of the Recreation Services Manager and the Assistant Recreation Manager. Mr. Coursey informed the Board that the Independence Celebration Event is scheduled to take place at Saginaw High School on the Saturday, June 28, 2025, the weekend before July fourth. He further elaborated that the event would start at 6:00 PM and the fireworks would begin at 9:30 PM. Mr. Coursey noted that the quote is the same cost as last year's Fireworks show.

A motion was made by Member Nyberg, with a second by Member Snow, to approve the quote for a $25,000 fireworks show at the Independence Celebration Event. Motion carried.

Recording Secretary, Maria Hernandez, introduced the item and informed the Board that the only pending expenditures are miscellaneous decoration items from the Holiday Event. The remaining balance for the Parks Donation fund, as of February 1, 2025, was $122,128.91.

A motion was made by Member Nyberg with a second by Member Snow to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Chairman Weaver declared the meeting of February 10, 2025, closed at 6:08 p.m.
