Public Hearing for the Establishment of an Online Residential Solar Permit Fee
— 1. Open and conduct a public hearing; and
— 2. Adopt Resolution No. 2024-057 to establish an online residential solar permit fee.

Consideration of Approval of Resolution in Support of the November 2024 California Ballot Initiative Measure Proposition 36
— 1. Consider the adoption of the Resolution No. 2024-058 supporting the November 2024 California ballot initiative measure Proposition 36 (Prop 36), which allows felony charges and increases sentences for certain drug and theft crimes.
4. CONSENT CALENDAR
The City Council/Successor Agency approves all Consent Calendar matters with one motion unless Council/Agency or Staff requests further discussion of a particular item. Items of concern regarding Consent Calendar matters should be presented during “Matters from the Audience."

— 1. Approve.
Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of Brea and Truepoint Solutions, LLC
— 1. Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of Brea and TruePoint Solutions, LLC in an amount not-to-exceed $44,220, plus a 10% contingency.
— The cost to execute Amendment No.1 to the Professional Services Agreement with TruePoint Solutions is $44,220, with a 10% contingency. If executed, that would bring the City’s total amount of authorized payments to TruePoint Solutions to-date to $60,885, with a 10% contingency.
Acceptance of Public Improvements and Release of Improvement Bond for Traffic Monitoring and Reporting for the AvalonBay Communities Site
— 1. Accept Public Improvements and Authorize City Clerk to Release the Performance and Payment Bonds for Traffic Monitoring and Reporting; and
— 2. Accept Warranty Bond to guarantee the work from Defective Work, Labor, or Material Performed.
— There is no impact on the General Fund .
